Mini R.U.F.: Regenerative Urban Farming In-Person Workshops (Harvesting & Preservation)

Over 7 months we will cover everything you need to know to grow from seed to winter prep. Not only will you be learning how to grow your own food but how vital our environment is to us & our future generations. Grab your pens & paper because this month we'll be outside learning about HARVESTING & PRESERVATION. This first of a two part workshop will cover how to properly harvest your crops and what to do with them. You will learn how to properly harvest your plants based on your plant’s specific needs. We will discuss the different ways to preserve your harvest for long-term or short term storage. You will also learn different harvest recipes that can be made with common vegetables to create flavorful and healthy meals.
