In addition to out ministerial work, empowerment through self-sufficiency is our priority objective. Ma’at Urban Agriculture & Industries™ was created to reunite us with a natural way of living. Growing your own food, recycling rainwater, being resourceful and using ingenuity to create a functional urban homestead. Our next initiative will be teaching and training people to build their own homes using alternative natural building techniques like earthbag adobe, hempcrete, cob, and more. Learning to build your own home and all supporting utilities is the apex of self-sufficiency and sustainability.
Evolve Education Center & Community Garden
Our team has the opportunity to co-create a community garden with the Plant to Plate Project that will serve as a self self-sustaining source of nutrition for our temple and the community around us. In addition to the garden plans are underway to turn the former facility into a learning center, where hands-on skills will be taught. As with our ministry the goal of this project is to create a hub of knowledge, community, and self sustainability.
