WHERE'S STEBO?
Ma'at Urban Agriculture & Industries manages several garden spaces. Please join us as we plant, maintain, and harvest naturally grown food. We are always looking to teach our community members in a hands-on way. Our intention is to provide more people with the knowledge, skills, and resources to take control over their food production from seed to preservation all while giving back to the environment with regenerative agriculture techniques and methods.
Join us as we grow & create balance!
Mondays 8a-12p
Evolve Education Center Community Garden
Located near the corner of 42nd & Millersville. We partnered with Autumn Lowery, The Plant to Plate Project, and Hovey Street Church of Christ to construct and maintain a space that provides opportunities for learning and food access. In this space we are growing peppers, eggplants, and herbs!
Tuesdays 8a-12p
25th & Temple Private Garden
We have connected with one of our community leaders to grow more exotic fruits & vegetables. The generous offer to create a backyard garden space has given us the opportunity to grow produce that is uncommon, high in nutrients, and great tasting. These fruits and vegetables will be available for sale once they're ready for harvesting.
Wednesday 8a-12p
Belmont Beach
This historic Black Beach has been redesigned with community enjoyment in mind. Located in the heart of Haughville, this garden location has grown thanks to the work of Friends of Belmont Beach. At this location we have herbs, peppers, onions, & leafy greens.
